This piece was loosely inspired by Athena, the Greek goddess of war, wisdom and art. When I think about that I find it a little strange, as some of those things feel very at odds with each other. Then I am reminded that there are different ways of fighting.
What I know is this: Creation requires far more courage, discipline, strength and problem solving than destruction.
Signed, varnished, and finished with a gold frame. Canvas measures 14”x18” and frame measures 20”x24”.
