This piece was inspired by the goddess Gaia, our majestic Mother Earth. Here she is adorned in something ancient and strong (cliffs), something fresh and soft (moss), something powerful and fluid (water), and something rooted, always reaching upward (trees).
To me her expression feels calm and wise. I think she has seen a thing or two, yet she is unshaken and unafraid to take up space.
Signed and varnished. This piece is painted on a wide edged finished canvas and is unframed. Canvas measures 24”x36”.
